A few days ago, in FRISIA ZOUT B.V. in the Netherlands, FLODIM’s team successfully surveyed one of the deepest underground salt cavern in the world under extreme pressure & temperature conditions. First run was performed with our advanced Explorer tool to guarantee clear & safe access to the cavern located around 4900 MD ( 3000 mTVD). The cavern was then surveyed with our sonar instrument to give the best possible estimation of volume and shape.

Same week, same location but in another well, our team performed the same measurements in one of the hottest salt cavern in the world with a temperature inside cavern around 100°C. Our advanced explorer and sonar instruments are carefully designed and tested for such extreme field conditions.
